Psychology of Design
Jon Yablonski takes a look at how designers can leverage psychology to build more intuitive, human-centred products and experiences. He’ll share his recent project Laws of UX and show how we can use some guiding principles from psychology to design for how people actually are, examine several examples of these principles in action, and explore how these principles relate to ethics and design decisions.
Jon Yablonski is an interaction designer based in Detroit, Michigan. His passion lies in exploring the intersection of design and development, and often merges these two disciplines into a hybrid approach. When he’s not building wire-frames or style sheets, Jon is curating Laws of UX and the Web Field Manual.
